第二期ピロウズに別れを告げて、手探りで「日本語ギターロックの世界」を模索し始めたピロウズがココでもう一度、「自分たちの求める音楽はナンダ？」と自問する楽曲です。
この曲が巻頭を飾る、アルバム「Smile」以降、「第四期ピロウズ」に突入していると、ワシは勝手に思っています。
この荒涼たる未踏の地で、自分の良心にしたがって、呼吸するように、ご飯を食べるように、生きるために、自分の為に曲を書いていこうと決心するその様子を歌ってます。
朝焼けの景色の中、海をまたぐ橋を車で渡りながらこの曲を聴くと、「よし、今日も頑張ろう」と決心できますね。
